VISIT TO PAUL CLUVER VINEYARD
FOR WINE TASTING AND LUNCH
We took a luxury bus out to the vineyard which is in the Elgin valley.
The journey took about one hour each way.
The TWO 44 seater luxury buses departed from the Cape Town Waterfront and the Rondebosch Common parking lot promptly at 10:00 am and returned at 4:00 pm.

John Cowlin was the driving force behind this event and had asked Paul Cluver to do the tasting himself. He had been a registrar in neurosurgery at GSH from 1972 - 1976 and a consultant for about 5 years thereafter.
This was an opportunity for class members to say a few words about themselves, tell some anecdotes, reminisce about the past, tell a joke etc.
